We had Claire's 6 week appointment today, and it went pretty well. She had three immunization shots and she cried, but only until I fed her. Her weight today is 10 pounds 6 ounces, and her height is 22 3/4 inches.
Our next appointment is when she is 3 months old, and she will get a few more shots.
She is feeding pretty often during the day, and she has stretches for about 4 - 5 hours during the night.
We try to go on outings every day, to keep her entertained, and so I don't go crazy!

My Pregnancy Diary: Day before birth
The day started out with contractions starting at 8 am. They were about 10 minutes apart. Adam went to work, because I knew that nothing would happen during the day. My girlfriend Sarah and her 10 month old came up to Santa Barbara, from Ventura to spend some time with me, and keep me distracted from the pain and discomfort of the contractions. We went to go get some lunch and ice cream downtown.
Once Adam got home from work around 7pm, we ate some dinner, and laid down for a while. The contractions really started to get painful around 11:30. I called my mom, told her what my status was, and that it was probably pretty likely that something was going to happen soon.
